 Bowen River Rodeo

The Bowen River Rodeo is a traditional bush rodeo, which brings people from far and wide to experience a true country rodeo.

The rodeo is held at the Bowen river over the Queens Birthday long weekend.

Camping is available on-site and amenities are provided.
 
 Bowen Seafood Festival

The Bowen Seafood Festival showcases Bowen’s local produce and offers a variety of culinary delights to tempt the taste buds of locals and visitors alike.

 Fishing Classic

The Bowen fishing Classic and Wet Weekend is one of Australia's largest family fishing competitions.

The event brings fishing enthusiasts to town for the weekend, whilst providing entertainment and activities for the whole family. 
 
 Coral Coast Festival

The Lions Coral Coast Charity Festival is an annual event conducted each year by the Bowen Lions Club.

It attracts large numbers of visitors from other destinations and traditionally generates a profit which is directed to the Bowen Shire and its residents.

 Bowen Show

In 1879 a small band of people were determined that Bowen was going to have a show. Today, it’s still a small band of people with the same ambitions to ensure the show continues. Visitors can expect to see the top class displays of all primary activities in the region, be involved in fun events throughout the day and enjoy the old fashioned entertainment of yesteryear along with the latest on offer.
