Whitsunday Transit is the leading passenger transport provider on the mainland in the Whitsunday region, delivering more than 70 services daily across the local area.
The bus network operates seven days a week, ensuring reliable and convenient travel for residents and visitors alike.
In addition to its regular services, Whitsunday Transit provides dedicated transfer services to and from Whitsunday Coast Airport near Proserpine, as well as Proserpine Railway Station. Buses and coaches are scheduled to meet every arriving and departing flight and train, regardless of the time of day or night.
Frequent local services operate every 15 to 30 minutes along Shute Harbour Road, connecting Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, Port of Airlie and Shute Harbour. These routes include stops at Centro and Whitsunday Shopping Centres and Abel Point Marina. Up to eight daily services also run to and from Proserpine. All buses are low-floor vehicles, offering easy and unrestricted access for passengers.
